From the Funeral Team

We are looking to add volunteers to our funeral team. When the church is asked to provide a meal after a funeral, we prepare food for the gathering. Serving help is also needed. If you can help with a food donation and/or with serving, please contact the Funeral Team lead, Rae-Ellen Preuss.

Funeral Service information for Donna Greenwald

Donna Greenwald, a long-time member of our church, passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31st. Visitation will be held at FCC-Mukwonago from 1-3 PM on Thursday, April 11, followed by the funeral service at 3 PM, which will be officiated by Reverend Paul Ray of FCC-Rochester. After the service, there will be a procession to the cemetery for a graveside service. We will be serving a light supper for family and friends after returning from the cemetery. Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home will be assisting the family with arrangements. Click HERE for Donna Greenwald’s obituary.

We have a couple of members who could really use our assistance right now, and we hope you can help.

Bonnie Geiser needs rides to visit Carl at Waukesha Memorial... and in the near future, to his rehab center. Please call Bonnie at (262) 363 - 7519 to offer assistance. W309 S8530 Greenview Dr. in Mukwonago.

Also, Karen Thomas could use some small meals as well as some visits. Please, no beans (legumes.) Green beans are fine)! Karen's phone is (941) 249 - 1162. Her address is 825 N. We realize that some of you can't offer rides or maybe even provide visits and meals, but please pick up the phone and call these ladies (and Carl) or send them a card. Let them know that you are thinking about them, praying for them, and offer some emotional support. During this time when we are without a settled pastor, it is important that we all do what we can to help our members through their times of difficulties!

Corporate Prayer

Jesus said "Apart from me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). Quite a strong statement! This must apply both to our individual lives as well as our corporate life as a church. Join us in prayer to see what God will do when we join together on the April 15, 6:30-7:30 PM, **Note New Day** in the classroom this month in praying for us as individuals, our families, church, community, nation and world.

Monday, April 15 Key Prayer Verse: Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
