Our Nursery

           "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me." Matthew 18:5 

Our nursery program is for children from birth up to five years old. The goal of this program is to provide a safe, loving and comfortable place for children to explore, play and learn. Through learning centers, group games, and storytimes we focus on Christian values and information about our Christian faith. We strive to treat each child as an individual with their own needs and interests. We want parents to feel confident their children will be cared for in a loving, safe manner.

Staff

We endeavor to have our staff be certified in CPR and first aid. They have had orientation in the nursery facilities, child safety, and our childcare policies. Volunteers under the age of 14 will not be with the infants. 

Our Facility

The nurseries are available for all worship services and congregational meetings. If the church function is family oriented, such as a potluck or after service fellowship, parents are encouraged to have all of your children with you.

The designated area for infants has rockers, a baby swing, a jumper, a portacrib and various age appropriate toys. There is a changing table in our bathroom.

Our preschool area for toddlers up to age five has a climbing gym, a lego table, a play kitchen, building blocks, and many toys for creative play.

After a child turns five he/she will go to the sanctuary with their parents for the beginning of worship until dismissed by the pastor for Sunday School. Activity bags are available for the young during the service.
